Investment opportunities in Antwerp and Zeebrugge
Are you looking for a suitable site in the port area? Here you can find an overview of available investment opportunities.
Available sites
NextGen District
For NextGen District, a strategically located zone within the port, we are looking for innovative, industrial activities that fit within the circular economy and energy transition. From linear to circular. From factories to networks. From using to reusing.
Concession site Koffieweg Zeebruges
Port of Antwerp-Bruges is looking for a candidate with a project that contributes to the transition to a climate-neutral industry with a focus on CO2-related activities to be part of the so-called 'MLZ site' in Zeebruges. The entire concession site of around 40 ha will be made available in phases, with phase 1 being launched now.
Co-siting and exchanging product streams
Various chemical companies are open to exchanging certain raw materials or by-product streams. The customers or partner companies then set up at the same site. For example, BASF Antwerp shares its site with partners including PVC producer Inovyn and Evides industrial water. While Ineos Oxide shares its site with chemical companies including Kuraray, Nippon Shokubai, Momentive and Arkema.
The by-product stream of one company often serves as a raw material for another. For example, Indaver and SLECO supply steam from their waste-to-energy plant on the Left Bank to companies in the port.
Are you interested in co-siting yourself, or do you have a brilliant idea for upgrading by-products into raw materials for another company? Then contact one of our Key Account Managers Industry or Liquid Bulk. They know the players in the port area and would be delighted to look at the different possibilities with you.
Real estate
In your search for a site or building at the port, you can also contact several real estate companies that offer buildings to rent or buy, both within and outside the port area.
